Marie Curie's Memory Tree Light-Up with Peter Andre and us!
We had a fantastic morning in the shadow of the London Eye, singing underneath the beautiful Marie Curie Memory Tree for #LightUpXmas. The gorgeous Peter Andre was there to light the tree with his poignant tweet to his late brother Andrew. As the hastag is used the lights dim blue, but the more tweets the tree gets, the brighter the lights will shine.
We were so delighted to be part of this event and were even more pleased to help with the special surprise for one of Marie Curie's nurses. She thought she was just coming to be a nurse in the photos, but she's a massive Peter Andre fan and was totally overwhelmed when he appeared and hugged her!! What a wonderful and special moment for a very special person. Peter Andre was so lovely to everyone, spending time taking photos and selfies and giving out hugs all round (we needed them for the cold!).
Another great Popchoir memory.... I think we'll tweet that to the tree :)
