A Fantastic Start to the Popchoir Year!
What a start to the year we have had! Lots of new faces and lots of returning members have made the first term of 2019 a great one. We have learnt some news songs, and perfected some old (including the dance moves)!!
Popchoir started the year in fine voice at the Cancer Research Winter Run on February 3rd. The conditions were certainly wintery but as always the support for the runners was greatly received.
Our Central Rehearsal at Oasis Waterloo on 6th March was bursting at the seams. It was a great opportunity for members to find out what it feels like to be part of such a big choir and also meet members from other choirs as well as the choir leaders. Shallow was introduced as a new song, which sounded amazing for the first time, we look forward to hearing it get better and better over the coming terms!
To top off an already busy week, Popchoir had two gigs on March 10th. We were back to sing at the Vitality Half Marathon in London and also made our debut at Crufts up in Birmingham, as part of the entertainment programme.
