Gig Diary

We're on our Half Term break this week.  There are no rehearsals between 28th May and 1st June. 

Our choirs are back from 4th, 5th and 6th June so please book your taster session now at the location of your choice.

We're delighted to be taking part in the Chislehurst Fair which is run by the Rotary Club in aid of charity.  It's a fantastic day out for the whole family with  a children's funfair; the performance stage featuring local dance and theatre companies throughout the day;a beer and Pimms tent; and around 70 stalls including entertainments, food, drink, and a huge range of different products and services.

You can see Popchoir perform at 11.30am which will take you nicely up to lunch!  What's not to love?  Pimms anyone?

Popchoir are very excited to be peforming at the Crouch End Festival - an event that takes place between 8th-17th June.  We are there on the middle Sunday at 11am on the Main stage, so do come down and start your day with us before a local Sunday lunch!  The festival is packed full of of amazing events and things to do, so check out the website and make the most of the opportunity to see a whole array of local arts and artists of all sorts.  There's something for everyone.

We have been supporting St John's Hospice for severall years now and are very pleased to be performing at the summer fayre on June 9th.  Each year St John’s Hospice provides palliative care for over 4,000 terminally ill patients and their families. Over the last 30 years, have provided high quality Hospice care, free of charge, to those living in and around Central and North West London.

The Fayre will be open from 10am – 7pm on Saturday and 10am – 6pm on Sunday  welcoming families and guests of all ages to celebrate with us while raising vital funds for the Hospice.  Children can enjoy new and classic fairground rides – including water boat adventures – take donkey rides in the park, and join in with our treasure hunt! A fine selection of crafts and gifts will be on sale from a range of local stallholders, including savoury and sweet food, drinks and other refreshments.

Bring the whole family down for a fun day out in support of St John’s Hospice.

If you're passing through Charing Cross Station today please take time to donate to The Samaritans - still at the forefront of helping those in crisis.  We will be singing on the concourse between 6-7pm so hopefully this will cheer your commute home and encourage generosity.  It's an amazing charity providing a life-saving and invaluable service to everyone and anyone in their time of most need.

We are delighted to once again be supporting the Croydon Food Festival on 24th June.  This favourite local event sees the restaurant quarter of South Croydon showing us what's on offer and tempting us with the gorgeous smell of fressh cooking!  It's hard to resist!  Come down for Sunday lunch, tea or dinner, browse the stalls, try the food, and take in the great local entertainment while you're there.  There's really nothing to not like!

We are delighted to be taking part in Chislehurst Rocks again this summer.  Bring the family and enjoy a whole day of fabulous entertainment and fun things to do.  Popchoir will be performing at noon along with a host of other great music acts.
