The Samaritans 1 - World Mental Health Day

It's World Mental Health Day on October 10th and we are delighted to be able to support The Samaritans in raising both awareness and funds for the amazing work they do.

Come and see us at Kings X station on your evening commute or while travelling through.  We'll be the sea of purple in the middle of the concourse.  Generous donations will directly help someone at a time of real crisis, and help to provide a literal life-line for those in despair.

We look forward to cheering your journey with our singing and to helping tackle mental health.

Kidasha - lunchtime

Kidasha is a small charity who are working to prevent the neglect, abuse and exploitation of disadvantaged, working and street children in Nepal.

Most street children have to work to survive so just building schools is no use to them as they can't afford to give up work to attend.  Kidasha brings schooling and pracitcal help to them in the places they work, their villages and their homes, helping them to make changes to their lives that they can sustain and build on for a better future.

Popchoir is really pleased for us to be partnering with Kidasha this year, and when we had a fundraising day for them earlier in the year we raised over £2400!  Let's see, with your help, if we can top that this time!

You can find out details of the charity here: https://www.kidasha.org/
